Halo: Reach tells the story of Reach, a human planet that falls to a surprise alien invasion by the zealous Covenant. Halo: Reach is an ambitious game, as it focuses on the heroes' end rather than beginning. Despite the game's short runtime, it manages to evoke emotions from the player for each Spartan.

In this retrospective, I explore the narrative techniques that Halo: Reach uses to tell its story so effective. I will also look at how Halo handles death and the Hero's End. So, sit back and enjoy the critique.
