Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is a private, not-for-profit research and education institution at the forefront of molecular biology and genetics. During the months of March through December, CSHL functions as an advanced postgraduate center of research training through activities run by the Meetings & Courses Program. Every year, the Program runs roughly 30 scientific meetings and 30 short courses in all areas of biology, attracting more than 9,000 scientists from all over the world. The Leading Strand YouTube channel shares the talks given by keynote, public, and invited speakers at CSHL meetings and courses.
