Turkish artist Garip Ay practices the art of ebru, or painting on water, which has been in practice for over 500 years. He puts a unique spin on it by recreating famous paintings on the surface of water. Some of his works include liquid replications of paintings by Van Gogh, Munch, and Michelangelo. The process of ebru painting is highly detailed and requires specific materials to create successful paintings and prints.
