Unfortunately you often need a degree to teach in Asia, but sometimes you don't and sometimes it's illegal. But you're an adult so you can do your research and figure if that is something you want to do or not.
Some people on the web act as if this is a huge crime.
And I look at it like this...
Are you hurting anybody by doing this?
No.
Are you any less qualified to teach than your average teacher with a bachelor's?
Probably not.
Your average English teacher abroad has a degree in an 'unrelated' subject.
I have a degree, but it doesn't make me any better of a person.
There are definitely some qualification snobs out there.
If you think you are better than someone because you have a degree and they don't then you are really SHALLOW.

You usually need to be a native English speaker and to have a degree to get a legal visa for teaching. However, there are some other ways too that are legal or illegal.
Some other visas are: spouse, student, heritage, and working holiday visas for those from common wealth countries. All of those can offer some ability to legally teach English.
You can try teaching illegally on a tourist visa too, but there are risks.
