On the occasion of Mr O'Shea's birthday (2 June, 1926):
Another of the songs cut from Jerry Herman's Dear World, this from a January preview recording. Sung by Milo O'Shea as the Sewerman, who stands in as defendant in the absence of the members of the Corporation during the trial scene. Unfortunately not all the lyrics are understandable, but the gist can be taken watching Dannie Kaye's brilliant monologue in the film version of the Giraudoux play with Ms Hepburn.
