Hi there amigo's! When your VHF and/or AIS is underperforming, 99.9% of the times this has to do with a bad connection in the antenna. This is good news, because that means that in 99.9% of the times fixing this problem can be quick, easy and cheap if you follow these easy steps. All you need is a soldering machine, an UHF connector (PL 259) and you 50 ohms antenna cable (RG58), and soldering tin.

STOP all bad connections on board of your boat, and enjoy your boat electronics to the full potential!
