Hey guys, let's carry on where we left off yesterday with another way to use our harmonised 6th intervals! This time we're moving between two minor CAGED chords to create a lovely melodic vibe!
The idea is exactly the same as yesterday. We're using the A minor scale to create a melody that moves us from one position on the neck to another. In this case we're using the following chords: A minor (A shape) and A minor (C shape).
We then pick our melody and harmonise it in 6ths to create that beautiful sound! Once again, the fretting shapes will be familiar, so it just a case of learning which shapes are where as you work through it!
We now have two application ideas for the 6th's concept, so have a play around with it and see what you can do! 🙏✌️✌️
