This video will explain a simple method for growing any type of sprouts (alfalfa was used here) in a mason jar.
Items Needed:
*Alfalfa seeds
*Mason Jar
*Lid with drain (cheese cloth will work)
*Optional: jar stand
*Water
*Plate/Bowl to contain drained water
You can also grow sprouts in any type of tray or plastic container with a damp paper towel on the bottom. I prefer the mason jar as it takes up less space in my fridge. Alfalfa sprouts are ready within 4-5 days.
