August 24 - October 2. The 4 of us spent a total of 800hrs living in this castle. It undergone 5 redesigns & survived all weekly zerg raids.
I made my character on this server's first day (August 12) but I stopped at gear 40. I was still solo and it's a squad server, I have no plans of getting outnumbered. However, I kept my base alive. I logged in once a week just to put blood essence in my t2 castle heart.
2 weeks passed when JK invited me in his clan with solda. I first met JK on a private server as an enemy. Me and JK grinded a lot while keeping a low profile. JK traded items to acquire this great spot in Farbane.

On the first weekend of the castle, 26th of August, the zerg raided us right away. There was only 2 of us since solda was offline. The zerg have all shards so it was too easy for them. The good thing is we have only transferred the potions which we were able to teleport before the zerg got to the top. We lost that night but we still had fun wasting 40 minutes of the zerg's time and them getting nothing.
After that raid, it is on for us. We will do everything we can to win. JK invited Coco (OCOC), another guy from the private server. I got a message from a guy named `DQ` asking to join the clan. We had no idea who he is but he told us he has 2.4k hours in the game. He knew me from my YouTube channel. I had 2.3k hours at that time so I was pretty sure that me and DQ have a lot in common. Me and JK talked about it and agreed. DQ taught us a ton of things. A.ton.of.things. Especially base building / raid defense / etc. His experience is from playing with other very experienced players. It was eye-opening for us. It's like learning from a pro.
On the next weekend, we got raided by the zerg again and DQ was asleep so he was very late XD. It was a 3v8 I think. We got keyed and wiped but we did not care. We just farmed everything back and hunted 100 warrior, 100 scholar and 100 worker.

Another week went by, we got raided again. It was a 4v10. Another key, another prisoner wipe. We focused on learning from mistakes and doing better next time.

At this time, I finally decided to try out the Dojo server. I felt like my PVP skills were lacking when compared to my clanmates and I did not want to be a burden. It was fruitful.
On the following weekdays, a plan has been agreed upon by every clan in the server that's not part of the zerg. The plan is to attack the zerg and take their shards on Saturday, Sept 16. The double death timer bug was just fixed so the zerg would not be able to use that against us and the dupe bug was also fixed making it hard for them to recover. It was a simple but great plan. My only problem is I cannot make it. I had a personal arrangement on that day that I cannot miss. Despite that, I did everything I can. I farmed golems, bombs, keys, made a recording on how to raid them, etc.. They also found a replacement for me for that night, Louis. And to top it all off, DQ is going to invite his very experienced friends to form a clan and help the attack.
Saturday came. I am not in the game but I was in discord and I was watching JK's livestream. The attack was looking bad in his perspective but it was the opposite in reality. DQ, Louis and DQ's friends are amazingly suppressing the zerg into their castles. They are not able to go out. The other clans were able to spawn their golems and breach. After the main castle was breached, they pushed until they got to the shards.
DQ and friends secured the shards first and JK was able to key their main castle. That pretty much made the zerg's loot open to the public. They had a ton of good shit and they looted a ton of them with the remaining time.
Sunday came and I am back in the game. The 2-hour raid on Saturday was not enough to wipe the zerg's many bases so everyone spent another 2-hours raiding all the castles of everyone who joined the zerg. It was fun. We distributed the shards to the clans that helped the Saturday raid the most.
Saturday was the last day that the zerg went online in that server. :) We won.

All in all, this server was one of the best. Met so many new friends. Lots of old enemies are now my friends. I learned more things than I thought I would. But the most important thing is I finally found a solid group of people who loves and plays V Rising as much as me.
P.S. The server is actually still up. There's just no more players playing. haha
