I remember my Neil Peart days, when I had a 12 piece Ludwig classic maple "kit", with 300 cymbals, drums everywhere, and I used that monster for all of my gigs for a while. Ridiculous, but fun once it was set up. When "Signals" was released, I ran out and bought a copy. Neil's drums sounded SO good! And the intro to "Digital Man" really stood out to me. Like so many impressive sounding licks, it was actually quite simple. I always felt like the most creative phrases were the simplest ones. I think this one is a good example of that...
