Just a quick tip, with being in half guard bottom with a knee shield and the top player is trying to pass low with a staple, or top player has used knee cut/staple and bottom player has inserted a knee shield, maintain frames, retract bottom leg (scissor) knee shield pressure and control the cross face threat and pop the knee back for retention, check it out - TrickyBJJ Academy
