There's plenty of wrong ways to install a cb antenna and just a few right ways. Remember to always check your swr with an external SWR meter. Don't trust your CB Radios internal swr meter. Be heard with a better mic as well, I like to use Ranger or Astatic, but there's other quality mics. Always use a quality coax RG8X is good for low power radios, but RG400 is better for higher power cb radios.
