You can pair two or more devices together, so they will work even with the loss of WiFi, internet and even AC power! In this example, we show you how to pair a Door/Window Sensor to a Siren Alarm, so that the siren will activate when the door or window is opened. You can pair the sensors in the opposite way, so that the siren activates if the door is closed.

You can pair up to 128 devices, but you only pair two at a time. The device that activates, such as a plug turning on, is called the 'responder'. Examples of responders are sirens, plugs, relays and light switches.

The device that triggers this response is called the 'controller'. In this example, the controller is the door sensor. Examples of other controllers are door/window sensors, water leak sensors, and remotes and fobs.

HOW TO PAIR TWO DEVICES:
EXAMPLE - DOOR SENSOR OPENS, SIREN ACTIVATES
PLEASE NOTE! The controller must be in the normal state, meaning it must be in the state that does NOT activate the siren, in this example.

1.Choose a Door Sensor as the controller. Hold the SET button for 5-10 seconds, until the button lights up and quickly blinks green. The device has entered pairing mode

2. Choose a Siren Alarm as the responder. Hold the SET button for 5-10 seconds, until the button lights up and quickly blinks green. The device has entered pairing mode

3. When pairing is successful, the lights will stop blinking

4. Always test your device pairing, to ensure proper operation later. If needed, follow the unpairing instructions to remove the pairing.

HOW TO UNPAIR DEVICES:

1. To unpair, it is important to have the devices in the state for which you wish to unpair. For the previous example, the door sensor must be in a door-closed state. At the door sensor, hold the SET button for 10-15 seconds until the LED quickly blinks
2. Repeat the process at the siren. Hold the SET button for 10-15 seconds until the LED quickly blinks
3. When unpairing is successful, both device LEDs will stop blinking
4. Always test your devices, to ensure expected behaviors later
