The Finch Shiv is unfortunately Finch’s poorest-named knife, in my opinion. However, it’s also a great little knife, a very good value from Finch (not usually a company that does good values), an ergonomic wonder, and it has a well-heat-treated, very legal 14C28N steel blade. It’s nice and thin behind the edge, quite slicey, and has great edge geometry. These started out at $90 or so, but possibly from the gimmicky name, have dropped to $80. If you’re looking at getting into Finch, or just trying one of their knives, I’d highly recommend this one.
