This is a film about the PREdiCCt study. PREdiCCt is a big data study aiming to find out what aspects of habitual diet, the environment, lifestyle, the microbiome and genetics are associated with and predict disease flare in IBD.

We start making this film before COVID-19 struck. We now have approximately 2650 patients recruited to PREdiCCt and in follow-up. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we have had to suspend recruitment. However we continue to collect follow-up data and samples from patients when they flare. Lee Murphy at the Wellcome Trust Genetics Core continues to receive and process samples.

In this film I also discuss the GEM project and the IBD Bioresource.
