I was reading my old 1999 and 2000 issues of RC CAR ACTION magazine as came across an engine I Never knew about the OS 12 and 15 LD engines. It turns out that OS used to manufacture engines that would mount directly to the chassis without any engine mounts. The ad in the magazine says that the typical RC car engine was really designed for airplane use and that it why it is mounted vertically. These Motors were just not very popular because of their fit in most rc cars, and they were designed for models that were discontinued almost suddenly. Lets check out this cool vintage engine and see what it's got to offer.
