TransAlp E5 from South Germany to North Italy. Crossing the Alps on foot in six days. In German: Alpenüberquerung E5.

In the summer of 2017 I went along with a group of 28 people and 4 mountain guides to register their alpine crossing on video.
We were walking during the day and eating and sleeping in mountain huts or hotels along the route. Down in the large valleys a private coach provided transfers, so the walking was concentrated on high ground. Otherwise the alpine crossing would take much longer.
This video was made to show what a long distance mountain walk is actually like.
