Kanye West brings the drama (and silence) as he closes the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Here’s what happened. Welcome back to Clevver’s Trophy Life you guys! Yeezus himself, Kanye West, or were pretty sure it was him, performed at the BBMAs somewhat mysteriously. Kim’s hubby was introduced by his sister-in-laws Kylie and Kendall Jenner whom were sadly booed upon taking the stage. That’s a fact. I don’t make this stuff up you guys. Kanye performed first his new track, “All Day” which should be renamed for TV viewings to “Some Silence” or “Censored”. To the celeb filled audience at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, they likely witnessed lights and sparklers on stage, a blurry Kanye, and profanity for days. For us, the TV watcher, it appeared on screen as if the camera lens was fogged up from the pyrotechnics as Kanye was hard to see clearly. Which I guess is his thing now. And because there was so much profanity, every other word was bleeped out with silence.
As you just witnessed yourself, you could basically neither hear nor see Yeezus. At one point in the performance there was a solid 15 seconds of silence due to constant inappropriate language. All Day. After Kanye performed his new song All Day he transitioned into previous hit “Black Skinhead”, which continued in a similar fashion. Possibly the most entertaining part of this song were the constant cutaways to Jennifer Lopez in the audience, enjoying herself. Totally into it. Say what you will, Kanye felt it. He danced up a storm (when you could see him) in true Kanye fashion. Tell me: were YOU into it? Leave a comment!
