Politically, the benefits of a centralized system have waned, and the evolution towards a decentralized global economy continues to shape the economic landscape.

Dr. Warwick Powell is an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology in Australia and a Senior Fellow at the Taihe Institute in Beijing. He is also the chairman and founder of Sister City Partners Limited, a not-for-profit investment bank dedicated to fostering economic links between regional Australia and Asian markets.
