At least one person was killed and 32 others wounded Sunday in the Turkish town of Reyhanli by cross-border shell and rocket fire from Syria's Afrin held by the Kurdish-led People's Protection Union (YPG).
The rocket fire came one day after Turkey launched its Operation Olive Branch against the YPG in Afrin on Syria’s northern border.
Three shells fell in Reyhanli, which is located about 10 kilometers from Afrin, on Sunday afternoon, followed by rocket fire later during the day.
Local residents said at least eight rockets hit the town.
