Check out the Palisades overdrive pedal from EarthQuaker Devices! It's an 808-style overdrive that has a ton of sonic flexibility. I spent a good amount of time with this pedal and still don't think I covered all the tones it's capable of. That's thanks in large part to the 6-way voicing switch, which changes the type of clipping diodes used in the signal path. Combined with the 5-way Bandwidth knob, which changes the frequency balance of the overdrive, there's a lot of variety here. And with two gain sections, Volume, Tone and Boost controls, a Bright switch, and a switchable buffer, the Palisades is a highly versatile overdrive pedal.
