Ordinary cattles can swim !
The physiological structure of cattle gives it a certain ability to swim. The cow's stomach is large enough to provide enough buoyancy in the water to keep the cow's body from sinking. In addition, the cow's running instinct enables it to make some movement in the water. Although the hooves and tails of cattle are not suitable for swimming, their body structure and instincts allow cattle to survive and move in the water !
Different types of cattle behave differently in water. Buffalo, for example, are able to swim more easily and far in water because of their larger bellies and lungs, as well as their better water ability. In contrast, cattle and cows can swim in water, but usually only when the water is not too deep !
It is important to note that although cattle are capable of swimming in water, they have not evolved specifically for swimming. The hooves and tails of cattle are designed more for land life than swimming. Also, if the water is too deep, the cattle may lose their balance because they can't step on the river bed, resulting in drowning. Therefore, although cattle have some swimming ability, there are still risks in deep water !
