I'm proud that this has become a hidden gem of the UK model ballooning world, we are a small community of enthusiasts, who gather to start our year, on cold days, (this year it was trying to snow outside) 18 balloons took off at the same time this year, but we love to mix things up through the day, with balloons from the British Balloon Museum and library, (BBM+L) along with several private collectors (one brought 7 balloons this year) and I got to play with an RC airship
The event has been running on and off for 18 years now, and is growing, bigger balloons and new faces.
