How Good Is God ?
God is good; even in the midst of your storms, He is in control!
His presence brings us peace and allows us to rest; even while our needs are great, He is greater. Even though our thoughts and imaginations may diminish God, he remains unchanged and is higher than our thoughts and more real than our imaginations.
Place your thumb in the air towards the sun. Even though your thumb can block out the sun, it changes nothing. Only our perception has changed. The sun, in all its splendor, brilliance, and greatness, is unmoved and uninhibited and warms the earth in spite of our efforts to block it.
Stop agreeing with perception and trust by faith that God is in control, unmoved and uninhibited by your thoughts and imaginations.
Wade into the deep by Trust.
Leap into your calling with Faith.
Rest in the storms and difficulties with Peace.
Move towards the impossible with Triumph.
Because Christ has prepared the way, completing his Father's work and seated in authority and majesty, with a Name above all names and upholds ALL things by the Word of His great power. He knows your name and appointed you for a time such as this and in the place where you now stand!
The Almighty dwells on high, yet He is with the broken hearted and those who are lowly in spirit. Rejoice you broken-hearted and cheer you who are crushed and lowly of spirit, for your Redeemer lives and in due time WILL lift you up! Because you are His, and His banner is flying over your life, and it says:
"I am my Beloved's, and He is mine; his banner over me is love!"
Rest, reset in the unchangeable and unstoppable love of God, for He loves you far greater than a mother's love, and His kindness is everlasting.
The Devil and his demons can't change God's love for you; they have been overthrown!
All the powers in the world, including Death and the Grave, couldn't stop His love; he conquered them!
All the world's governments can't regulate His love; they're all on His shoulders!
Judges can't overrule it, for God is the Supreme!
You can't remove God's love from yourself because it's indelible and permanent, guaranteed by God's covenant and promise.
You can't hide from His love, for God's love is manifested everywhere. His beauty and majesty are in nature all around and in the heavens above.
So, rest and trust in God. If God is for you then who can be against you?
You are in a "season" and not in a permanent state. Rest, rest and be at peace -- change is coming. God's promises are as sure as the sunrise.
To those who trust in God, He is good. Good ALL the time!
