You ever get that feeling that your internet provider is truly sadistic? That's how I fell, now that we had a massive internet outage at home. It lasted for one week, and the people at CenturyLink were very unhelpful in estimating when service would be restored. Now, I'm not one to buy into conspiracy theories, but I personally believe that CenturyLink did that to remind us that we depend on them for internet (they're the only ISP in my area), and if our line takes 1 and half hours to upload a small video, we have no power to say boo, since CenturyLink can revoke service at any time.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be getting a tinfoil hat now...
