Every few weeks we resurface the enclosure with fresh wood chippings. Here's a short video of the enclosure before, during, and after, with some night footage included.
What is The Cat & Ferret? This is our outdoor 2 in 1 ferret enclosure/cattery. This is currently home to 5 ferrets, 2 genets, and 5 cats. We have tried to keep it all-natural without many plastic toys and such, but instead, create enrichment such as placing food around the enclosure so they can search and find it. We have also used tree branches, plants and woodchippings to create a real-world environment that the animals would likely be situated in.
