Hello Everyone!
Welcome to Storytime with me, Auntie Gen!
Did you bring a friend to enjoy the magic? Today, we'll be talking about a folklore creature which has been a part of our Caribbean history for as long as time. Can you make a guess?
This creature roams in Guyana, Trinidad, St. Lucia & Dominica going by various names but keeps the same characteristics. Any guesses? No?
It has the ability to shapeshift into a ball of fire after shedding and hiding it's skin in a calabash gourd which is usually hung in a tree. It is usually said that this creature can live up to a 100 years, disgusting itself as something else.
As Auntie Gen begins to reveal this tale to us, something a bit mysterious begins to happen and she is shocked by what she notices.
Let us know what you think about this week's tale. Leave a comment, give us a like & don't forget to subscribe.
