Join me on another one of my favorite motorcycle day trips in Colorado - a 200 mile loop into the Wet Mountain Valley that starts off in Colorado Springs and travels through Custer County and Westcliffe, CO.
Ride takes about 4 hours round trip, and includes some incredible historical sites and scenery. Notable locations include the Florence Federal Correctional Facility (including the SupoerMAX), Cañon City, Silver Cliff, Westcliffe and more. For those who want to spend additional time exploring, there is the Royal Gorge Bridge and railroad, the Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility tours, zip lines, river rafting, fishing, and so many other options!
