Waakye is a Ghanaian classic and there is no full waakye experience without waakye stew. So this recipe is made easy for you to achieve your own waakye stew at home.
INGREDIENTS:
300gr goat meat
150/200gr cow skin (wele/Kpomo)
10/12 medium size tomatoes
3 whole baby red fishes (use 2 if you have the Medium or bigger ones)
4 medium size onion
3 thumbs of ginger
3 cloves garlic
2 scotch bonnet pepper (adjust according to preference)
200 gr tomatoes paste
Curry
Aniseed
1 tablespoon Black pepper (2 tablespoon if powdered)
1 teaspoon cloves
Half glass vegetable oil
Salt to taste
2 stock cubes
