India defeated Chile 2-1 to claim seventh place in the Women's Rabobank Hockey World League in Rotterdam.
Chile had the first clear cut chance of the match. Camila Carams' drag flick was deflected just over the bar by her sister Daniela.
After a tight first half Chile took the lead through Camila Carams' powerful slap from a short corner.
India responded quickly. Ritusha Kumari Arya slotted home from close range after Lilima Minzs' pullback to make it 1-1 after forty seven minutes.
Caram was denied a second penalty goal, Savita saved well to keep the scores level.
Chanchan scored from close range after a melee in front Schuler to make it 2-1 with fourteen minutes to go.
India could have extended their lead, Rani Poonam denied by a good save from Schuler.
Chile came agonisingly close to equalising, Sushila Chanu Pukhrambam cleared off the line which maintained India's narrow advantage.
