IBM Spectrum Protect Plus is an integrated part of IBM Spectrum Fusion. IBM Spectrum Fusion provides container-native data and storage services for OpenShift workloads. Spectum Protect Plus server and BAAS agent are automatically installed and configured as part of the Fusion install from the OperatorHub in RedHat OpenShift, and provide the data protection piece of Spectrum Fusion.
This demo shows how you can use Fusions' integrated management of SPP to add backup copy locations (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or S3); Create policies defining how frequently to backup, where to store the backups and how long to retain the backups; Assign backup polices to applications running in OpenShift.
