Keep your SolarCell Smart remote charged and ready to go! The solar cell on the back allows you to charge your remote using indoor or outdoor lighting. All you have to do is place the remote face down with the solar panel facing up. You can also charge it by using the USB-C charging port on the bottom of the remote. Just plug it into the wall, a PC, or your TV’s USB port. A prompt will appear on your TV letting you know the remote is charging and it will notify you when it’s fully charged! To view the available percentage of battery remaining, first, press the Home button on your remote to open Smart Hub. Using the directional pad, navigate to and select All Settings. Next, select General and Privacy, Power and Energy Saving, and then scroll down to Available Remote Battery.

If for any reason you need to pair the remote to your TV, you can do so manually. Simply point the remote at the TV from 1-2 feet away, and then press the Return and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. “Pairing Complete,” along with a remote and battery icon, will appear on the TV once the pairing is complete.
