I tried registering my 1977 Toyota Celica GT in the golden state of California (had not been registered since 1999) and found that the title had changed hands multiple times without getting registered and had the one of the previous owners signatures on it. I tried reaching out to him but found he had passed away. I went on the internet and found a loophole for classic car owners who had title issues to be able to get any car over 25 years old registered legally without any issues in Vermont. I was sceptical but did it anyway and two weeks later, my registration arrived in the mail. Now I can drive the Celica legally and it feels like a dream.
Let me know if you would like to see a step-by-step-process of how to get this done.
