BNSF AC4400CW locomotives leading Metrolink commuter trains in Los Angeles, CA. Almost every train set now has one of the BNSF units on it, basically acting as the new, more sturdy cabcar. It was proven that the Hyundai Rotem Cabs are unsafe after the recent, tragic Oxnard crash that killed the engineer.
The majority of the shots were filmed at Main St in downtown LA, with the exception of the last clip, which was filmed in Burbank. A couple Amtrak trains are also included.
- BNSF 5626 meets Amtrak #774 with the AMTK 165 East at Mission Tower.
- Amtrak #769 heads North with AMTK 453 on point.
- BNSF 5615 leading a double-set.
- BNSF 5617 at Main St.
- BNSF 5644 leading a double at Main St.
- In the distance, a San Bernardino bound Metrolink crosses over the LA River, while Amtrak 580 heads toward San Diego behind it.
- BNSF 5649 at Main St.
- BNSF 5658 at Main St.
- BNSF 5626 leads a double at Main St.
- BNSF 5655 leads a double set at Main St. Most of the K3LA horns on these engines are pretty solid! This one is probably the worst I've heard so far. Slightly fouled!
- BNSF 5643 at Burbank...Nice K3LA on this one!
