Stir Fried Kam Heong Clams (Lala) ● Homemade Recipe
Ingredients:
1 kg Clam
2 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons fermented bean paste (tauchu)
1 tablespoon curry powder
3 tablespoons water
20 pieces curry leaves
2 tablespoon dried shrimp
1 tablespoon sugar
2 bird’s eye chili
1 teaspoon minced garlic, shallot & ginger
Steps:
Add Clams into boiling water.
Once the Clams open up, scope it out immediately
Rinse the Clams with water
Cut and remove the empty shell (the other side of the clams)
Heat the pan and add the oil
Sauté the minced garlic, ginger and shallot and dried shrimp till fragrance
Add the curry leave, fermented bean paste and bird’s eye chili
Add water and sugar
Stir in the clams and cook for 2 minutes
