Three people, including a child, were rescued on Saturday from the rubble in Turkey’s Hatay province, more than 296 hours after the first of the two earthquakes that shook Turkey and Syria on 6 February.
The powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake, followed by a 7.5 magnitude earthquake, affected at least 23 million people, levelling hundreds of buildings, with survivors continuing to emerge almost 13 days later.
The quake killed more than 45,000 people in Turkey and Syria, leaving thousands injured and homeless in the freezing cold.
