Hot on the heels of his debut release on Defected ‘It Is What It Is’, Brazilian powerhouse DJ and producer Vintage Culture steps up to remix one of the label’s biggest releases of late, Louie Vega and The Martinez Brothers’ ‘Let It Go’ with Marc E. Bassy. The original record, a homage to NYC’s rich Latin American dance culture, was as slick, soulful and groove-filled as expected from two generations of the city’s finest, making its way onto the Radio 1 playlist and inspiring remixes from Honey Dijon and Dom Dolla already. True to form Vintage Culture’s mix is flawlessly executed, as bold keys, stirring builds and an addictive bassline make this a record begging to be heard on the dancefloor.
