April 18th 2012 the Firefighters, Pipes and Drums group, from the Lewisville and surrounding areas gathered together to help celebrate the life of an absolutely amazing man. The Coach Joe Avezzano Celebration of Life memorial kicked off at his place in Lewisville, Hat Tricks. Coach Joe's family and friends were all in attendance for the event and there was not a dry eye in the place. He will be missed.
