We had the pleasure to interview "Band of Brothers" James Madio a few months ago about when he portrayed Technician Fourth Grade Frank Perconte. James Madio and Frank Perconte formed a real-life friendship that lasted until Frank Perconte's death in 2013. Madio's time with Perconte and this role forever changed his life and shaped him to be the man he is today.
Veterans like Perconte and their stories have a deep impact on our lives. We learn from stories of the past to build the future. Their sacrifice/work will never be forgotten and live on in the hearts of many.
