Scenario 2: If you score anywhere above 600 points, you are at the top 0.2% of the pool, which only includes 479 people. Therefore, whenever the government announces they are inviting 3000 people, your range will be picked first, and then the remaining 2,521 will be invited from the lower range of 501-600 people. Since there are 4,411 people in this range and the government is only inviting 2,521 people from this range, only those people will be invited who rank higher, if two or more people had the same score in the same range, only those will be invited who submitted their express entry profile before a certain period of time. Sometimes, the government will decide to invite all people who are at the same score level without considering their profile submission date. Therefore, it is advisable to submit your express entry as soon as you can.

Scenario 3: If you score anywhere below 300, you are in the bottom 2% of the pool, the government has to select all 232,311 people which is 97.85% of the pool before your turn comes.

Therefore, it is important to monitor the CRS score distribution on the official government website and analyze whether you have a chance to be invited.
