Did you know that Superman served as inspiration for the animated movie - Megamind? If you take a good look at it, the plot is quite the same as that of Superman's movie. The odd-looking character with a bald head in Megamind was compared to Lex Luthor in the Superman movie. Additionally, the alien with super ability is very much similar to Superman. As a matter of fact, just like Superman, it's easy for the people of Metro City to love Metro man, and despise the "oddball."
