Question: How can I convert my WAV to AIFF, (Audio Interchange File Format) & have them change tempo/Transpose?
This one has been covered before, But today I will show you a common mistake made while using the Apple loops utility to create AIFF, A lot of people can convert them, But they do not change tempo! So, This is how to do convert that huge library the right way! Especially if your like myself a sample pack provider, And want your customers to have the best options. REX2 files are already covered in one of my previous videos, So for that. Just check my video library.
Also Note: this is mainly of course for us Logic 9 or before users. Ableton & some other DAW users will find it easy as by default WAV can change tempo.
Also There is a common misconception out there that WAV cannot tempo change. True, To a certain extent. If your WAV is acidised correctly using the right software, then it can! & can do just about all that apple loops can.
All you have to do is look at most loopmasters products, Most of they're WAV loops, & even 1 shots, are whats referred to as 'acidised' WAV. To do this, I will explain another day, in another tutorial.
As always, Send in any questions. & I hope you enjoy the tut.
