Former Vice President Joe Biden joked about hugging IBEW international president Lonnie Stephenson on Friday, saying he had "permission to hug Lonnie."

He also joked that a young boy on stage "gave me permission" to put his arm around him when several kids were brought up on stage during the IBEW conference.

His comments came as the potential 2020 presidential candidate continues to face allegations of unwanted physical contact with women.
