Andrew is a 9th-grade student from California.
He joined the Community Impact Program and set his goal: helping people in need!
- He did weekly sessions helping a 6th-grade student with a Latino background, to improve reading skills in English.
- Led his boy scout team to visit the Senior Disability Rehab Centre, singing Christmas songs and writing 300-holiday cards for patients.
- Volunteered during Thanksgiving to help sort food for the poor.

With support and guidance from his Kyros coach Karin, for his community impact and hours of voluntary work, he applied for the Congressional Award and won the bronze medal.
