The BARS is a scale that assesses the performance of new employees or trainees based on pre-defined behavioural patterns.
Basic idea is that...it compares an individual's performance to specific examples of behaviour,....
which are then categorised and assigned a numerical value .....and then these are used as the basis for rating performance.
Now There are scale points ranging from:
a Five-point-scale,....... to
a Seven-point-scale, .....to
a Nine-point-scale.
