On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: As the war in Ukraine drags on, and international fallout continues from a chaotic, near mutiny in Russia, the Biden administration is sending more military hardware to Ukraine in the form of 50 heavily armored vehicles and air defense system missiles. Meanwhile, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville continues to hold strong and tells us he will not end his hold up of military promotions, until Pentagon officials change their policy on abortion. In Tennessee, a protest was held Sunday against the Union Cycliste Internationale's policy allowing transgender women to compete in cycling races. As part of the Independent Women's Forum, former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines helped to organize the rally. She joins to tell us more about the protest, what kind of turn out it had and why she felt it was important. And in part 2 of our interview with Fr. Mike Schmitz, he tells us more about his listeners, his busy schedules and what comes next after the Catechism in a Year. Finally this evening, Pope Francis recently met with a group of world-renowned artists in the Sistine Chapel. There, they honored together a special anniversary. EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, has more.
