The Legrand Ortronics EZ Patch patch cord deployment system is a new, innovative way to dispense and manage patch cords. This system replaces the traditional plastic baggie packaging that has to be ripped open individually and then the patch cord has to be bound tight with a ty-rap.
EZ Patch has clipped the patch cords together which allows for them to be put on a cardboard reel inside a cardboard box. When you are ready to patch, you just pull the patch cord out of the box until you come to a clip and then you unclip the cord and go on to the next one. The box includes three different categories: Clarity 6A, 6 and 5E and they come in five colors and six different lengths. The box and clips are 100 percent recyclable.
The EZ Patch patch cord deployment system saves installation time because you no longer have to hassle with individual bags. It eliminates waste and when you are finished on the jobsite you don’t have all the baggies laying around to clean up.
