If you ask Swedes what the best smell in the world is, they are said to answer, “freshly baked cinnamon buns” or Kanelbullar how they are called in Swedish. The pastry is so popular there that it even has a national holiday. And it’s a beloved snack for Fika, the Swedish coffee break. We looked over the shoulder of baker Linea Andrae in Stockholm to find out how it’s done the right way.
