These five Naxos discs, every one done about as well as the music can be, have been available separately; but now they've been neatly boxed up and issued as a set. Anderson was without a doubt one of the very greatest composers of "light music," which is no less "great" for being "light." He knew what he could do, and did it superbly, to the very last note. This collection of his complete orchestral works is a delight.
