The Hatch Act contains several imitations on federal employees’ partisan political activities in order to maintain a non-partisan working environment, and to ensure a professional, non-political transition between administrations. This short video will explain the restrictions applicable to Further Restricted Employees, which include Career SES employees and Administrative Law Judges, as well as Contract Appeals Board Members and Administrative Appeals Judges.
